I Say Your Name, a feverish fan fiction, love letter, incantation, misunderstanding, ode, delusion, dream, was performed at Ballhaus Ost as part of In The Vault by Presentation Club in November 2025, and at StudioIIII as part of the book launch of ART by Dorian Electra in December 2025.

‘you’ve got that look, love!’ the man sitting on a bench swings his beer towards me in a cheers as i pass by.
‘i know you!’ the woman serving me meatballs at ikea exclaims, before she sings a full verse of the song at me.
‘you know who you look like?’ the man at the pharmacy asks as he hands me my cyst cream. we say her name in unison.
in the bar line, a hand gently starts stroking my head before a man leans closer and whispers in my ear:
‘you look like a million dollars…like her.’
she’s on my mind.
as i’m walking past a dark window on the street one night, i sense a shadow following along.
in the uber on my way home from a restaurant, a second set of eyes are looking back at me in the rearview mirror.
as i leave my flat early in the morning, a familiar head glows up under a street lamp.
it’s evening in my room. candle lights flicker in a circle around me on the floor as i stand before the full-length mirror, sizing myself up and down.
i turn my head to the right.
to the left.
chin up, chin down.
i look myself in the eyes, and say her name three times.
i close my eyes…
i take a breath…
